When you say shave ready, when/how was it last hone?
    Are the pins tight?
I'm new to a true straight so am hoping to get a feel for things right from the start.

I didn't hone it, I received it honed and in shave ready condition. I only shaved with it a couple of times.

That is a great price for a razor of that quality. A beginner should snap this up.
