    Default Torrey 5/8 Hollow Ground, Square Point, Shave Ready

    Offering a used 5/8 Torrey Razor Co. (Worcester, Mass.) with faux ivory celluloid scales. The blade has a very slight smile and a half hollow grind. The tang is plain with no jimps. There is a small amount of light staining on the blade. Although a square point, it came generously rounded - this would be a great razor for a beginner.

    The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones using a full Asano Mikawa Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma) and finished with Tomo slurry and then plain water. Honing was done using a single layer of tape.

    I'm interested in this razor, but what do you mean by smile? Sorry I'm just getting into straight razors.
