Default Wester Bros. "Manganese Steel" 9/16 Hollow Ground Square Point, Shave Ready

Offering a used 9/16 Wester Bros. (Germany) "Manganese Steel" square point with faux ivory celluloid scales. The blade is a slightly relieved spike point with a half hollow grind. The tang is blued steel with no jimps. The blade closes close to one side, guiding it while closing is recommended.

The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones using a full Asano Mikawa Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma) and finished with Tomo slurry and then plain water. Honing was done using a single layer of tape.

I just honed one of those. A 5/8 but otherwise the same and it took a heck of an edge and is going strong. I think $45 is a DEAL!!! Wow!
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
