ONE OFF! Massive 9/8+ Max Sprecher Custom Razor with Cobaltium Mokume Gane Scales!
Here for sale is my custom made 9/8+ Max Sprecher custom razor with Cobaltium Mokume Gane Scales.
This is the centerpiece of my extensive collection and quite simply one of the most beautiful, well crafted custom razors around. It was handmade in 2012 by Max in Las Vegas and has been cherished every since. It has only been used on a handful of occasions during this time and is in absolutely as new condition. It is still shave ready (YMMV as always).
It comes with a custom fitted black box.
I am selling this very special piece as I am reviewing my priorities and unfortunately maintaining my collection may not be one of them.
The original thread (with Max's amazing photos) can be read below:
http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...kume-gane.html
The razor is for sale today for $600.00 USD only which includes tracked international shipping (Approx. $40.00 USD worth). I am in New Zealand but shipping to the USA (for example) via this method only takes 3-5 working days on average. I package all of my shipments extensively to ensure they arrive 100% undamaged. I will ship worldwide, within 48 hours of confirmed payment. I accept PayPal payments only. I am a long time SRP member and can provide references should you require.
Please feel free to ask questions!
Thank you for looking!

Thanked: 480I remember when you first got that beasty. What I dont remember, and some of the interested parties here might want to know, is what steel Max used on it?
I love the mokume scales!

Wow ! I cannot believe that is still here. All of Max's razors are pieces of art, but that one is just awesome in the true sense of the word.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
