Could use a light polishing, I don't do this to razors so I left it in it's as found condition. I maybe worked on the edge a bit I can't remember. I haven't been into straights lately as I tried a feather DX and have been religiously using it. I'll say it could use a light honing before use, it doesn't have massive hone wear or and cracks, chips etc..

It's between 5/8 and 6/8. Smiling blade, take that into consideration.
