If You Want A Razor Fixed Up To Sell, Don't Send It To Sharpton !! W&B Pearl Scales
You'll want to keep it !!
Wade & Butcher Sheffield England 11/16 blade. Pearl scales expertly cleaned, polished, and re-pinned by Sharpton. Looks like it came out of the factory yesterday.
I've had this razor for years. I hunted for one without cracked scales before I finally landed this one off of the bay. Honed it with great difficulty when I first got it. The pivot was loose as a goose and I wasn't about to risk cracking the scales trying to tighten it. Set it in a drawer.
Tom redid the pinning just as he demonstrates in this old thread here, and I just got it back.
I honed it with a progression of Choseras 1k-10k and finished on the 20k Suehiro. Shave tested (whole face/neck) and got a BBS two pass. Want what I have in it. $350.00 USD shipped in the CONUS. International shipping according to destination.

Exceptionally beautiful razor Jimmy, and almost impossible to find in that condition....and Tom did a superb job at making it look NOS.

Yes he did. Exceeded my expectations ! Here is what it looked like in the pix I was going to use to list it before Tom did his MAGIC ! You can't really see the difference in the pix, but it was grungy. Now the pearl shines like a new dime, and the liners are clean like new.

I actually thought you might keep it as well, Jimmy!
Oh well..Someone will get a nice, tight, and sharp example!
Light hits it right and the rainbow comes out!
Best of luck to seller AND buyer!

If I had money earmarked for my descendants that I could draw on they would be that much poorer at this point.
And I agree with Andrew. Shoulderless is the ultimate in my book."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Sharptonn is a very skilled restorer. I've learned a lot from his helpful posts and it's always a pleasure to see his work.

Thanked: 45Are the honing issues corrected at this point (meaning a competent honer without corrective skills like myself) can maintain the edge going forward? I can hone most razors well without too much fuss, less some more worn or warped pieces I just don't have the skill set for yet. Also, are you willing to ship UPS?
