What a treat these two razors would be for a new straight shaver. Excellent deal.

You guys are killing me. Do you realize I have 3 different kids with April birthdays? Between mdwright and barber hone/strop/razor deal maker, it's like your trying to tempt me in to being the worst dad ever!

I have a brand new GD 208 that I just got shave ready as my first straight... would either of these be comparable? better? My GD 208 has a so so edge but I think a bit of my opinion on them is my lack of experience. Don't want to amass a HUGE razor collection... because I do have a RAD personality .. but do want a more quality razor... would this be a good option for me? or should I be looking for something different? Also? I have my gd 208, a WhippedDog strop kit.. but no hone.. been thinking instead of replacing my gd i should be looking for a nice touch up hone... Thoughts?
Nice razors.. thinking seriously about them...

Checked the bank account. the price is right... just doing some research. or attempting.. Trying to get a bud of mine who's more experienced to give me some advice on if these would be good purchases for me or not.
