Default Sold Razor projects: blades only, Harner

These are blade-only projects, they need finishing, scaling and honing

    1) LR (Butch) Harner prototype.
This is a 7/8 blade, but the length is 3 3/8" so it looks smaller in the photographs. It's intentionally longer than the norm so that the point can be customized to whatever shape is desired (could be done even with a dremmel tool).
It is ground (Harner quality 1/4 hollow) and tempered, I have honed and tested it and it's a great shaver.
It has slight surface pitting on the level of the grinding marks because it was affected by a roof leak.

    2) Gone Thomas Turner, Sheffield
One of the upscale Sheffield manufacturers - they had a royal warrant producing for the court. It is from the later part of 19th century since the stamp doesn't contain "England".
This is a 5/8 1/4 hollow blade, with a very slight smile as is the norm, which has been professionally reground. I've cut partial bevel to make sure the grind is OK and that the one pitting spot doesn't affect the edge. It can simply be put into a pair of scales, honed and used, though personally I do not like my razors with a grinder finish and thought I'd sand it to a proper finish first. I have to accept that it isn't going to happen any time soon, so perhaps somebody else is interested.

Has #1 been sold? Has there been a price drop?

    Thanks

No it hasn't. I guess I'll drop the price to 125 then.
