Thanked: 59Wade & Butcher FBU 8/8 *All Original*
So I picked this up a few months ago and finally made up my mind what I was going to do with it. There is no rust on the blade and no rot in the scales. The blade does have some light pitting and there are some chips in the scales but no rot. Scales are black horn and straight, excellent centering. No cracks in the scales and the chips do not affect its firm rigidity. I think it is in pretty good shape for its age. As you can see, the etching is still quite deep on the blade and tang. The blade measures 15/16" at the toe, 8/8" in the middle and slightly over 8/8 at the heal. So, this started life as an 8/9 or higher probably. I have checked my honing under my metallurgy microscope and my entire edge is sharp, keen, perfect, flawless and has no microchipping. Any questions or concerns must be pm'd to me and not put into the thread.
Very "shave ready", pm me for the progression used. I've done a lot of pricing comparisons on this type of straight razor and feel that $310 is a fair and firm price. Payment to be made by PayPal, shipping included CONUS only. Full no questions asked 48 hour return policy. Just get it back into the mail to me within 2 days if you do not want it.
Pictures taken with my iphone 7 plus. 30 in total.

It's just too much razor for me. Way too much actually.

Same here, I tend to gravitate towards 6/8 and 7/8 blades although I have an almost 8/8 SSA blade that I actually like.

Blade is in super condition. Too heavy for me I am afraid. I have a similar W&B that I hardly use.
