9/16 Daishi '20' Tamahagane Steel Round Point, Excellent Condition, Shave Ready
Offering one of my personal 'user' razors: a 9/16 Daishi '20' Tamahagane (iron sand) steel round point quarter hollow grind in original green plastic scales and yellow wedge. This razor is in excellent condition with very little hone wear. I have done nothing to this razor except to hone it and shave.
The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones: sharpening and pre-finishing on a Shinden Hon Suita using a full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma), and final finishing on an Nakayama Asagi Tomae with Tomo Nagura slurry and then plain water. Honing was done with a single layer of .007” tape.
