6/8 Iwasaki Kamisori in Swedish Steel with Wrapped Tang, Wood Box, Shave Ready
Offering one of my personal 'user' razors: a 6/8 Iwasaki Kamisori in Swedish steel with rattan wrapping on the tang and original wooden box and paper wrappings. This razor is in excellent condition with very little hone wear. I have done nothing to this razor except to hone it and shave. I own two of these, so one of them has to go.
The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones: sharpening and pre-finishing on a Shinden Hon Suita using a full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma), and final finishing on an Takashima Karasu Asagi with Tomo Nagura slurry and then plain water. Honing was done without tape.
