Thread: Rodgers Cast Steel Stubtail 6/8 SOLD

I bought this 6/8 Rodgers Cast Steel Stubtail from ebay seller 'itsakiller' about 10 years ago. Wooden scales are original according to him, and identical (virtually) to those on a stubtail in Robert Doyle's 'Collecting Straight Razors'. IOW. I believe they are original. BTW, whether this is Joseph Rodgers, or another with the same surname is unknown to me. I've always assumed it was Joseph but ............ ?

I honed this to shave ready and have shaved with it a few times. Good shave but watch your thumb !
