This lightly used Mastro Livi was made about 8 or 10 years ago. The 1&1/16" wide Damascus blade has pearl inlaid in the decorated spine. Olive wood scales which Razor Guy told me the Mastro harvested (the wood) himself. From the some of the best years of the Mastro's production, and larger than much of what he has been bringing out. That is beeeeaaaauuuutiful. The curve of the edge and the angle of the point just work so well together. Of course the spine is a tremendous bonus.
