Wonderful razor. It would make a nice addition to my collection, but my wife's birthday takes priority this month.

Is it made from carbon steel or stainless steel?

    Friodurs are stainless.

Yup, and in fact for being stainless i've always been amazed of how sharp they can get.. I normally see discussions around about how stainless steel cannot be as sharp as carbon steel... well, here you have an exceptional metal with an exceptional capacity to take a good edge... they get wicked sharp with very few effort on the hones... my favorite inox of all time..
and to be honest, if you really want to cut down the efforts on your daily shaving, without having to make a looooong ritual of drying your razor to avoid rust... and not to sacrifize the edge... well this is it..
edge retention is of course not as looong as the carbon steel in my e3xperience. but it's very very decent!

    regards!
