Thread: 13/16 Daishi #144 13/16 Square Point HG, Tamahagane Steel, Exc. Cond., Shave Ready

I've decided to limit my collection to vintage Sheffield razors and am therefore selling off everything else:

Offering a very clean 13/16 Daishi #144 hollow ground square point, made from Tamahagane steel, in original translucent grey plastic scales and wedge. This razor is in excellent condition, with almost no hone wear. I have done nothing to this razor except to hone it (Jnats with Nagura only) and shave.

The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones: sharpening and pre-finishing on a Shinden Hon Suita using a full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma), and final finishing on a Nakayama Asagi Tomae with Tomo Nagura slurry and then plain water. Honing was done with a single layer of .007" tape.
