Thread: 6/8 Tanifuji No. 1070 King Square Point HG, VGC, Shave Ready

I've decided to limit my collection to vintage Sheffield razors and am therefore selling off everything else:

Offering a very clean 6/8 Tanifuji No. 1070 King hollow ground square point, in original cream colored plastic scales and black wedge. This razor is in very good condition, with minimal hone wear. There are some areas of light pitting and staining on the blade, but nothing near the edge. I have done nothing to this razor except to hone it (Jnats with Nagura only) and shave.

The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones: sharpening and pre-finishing on a Shinden Hon Suita using a full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma), and final finishing on a Nakayama Asagi Tomae with Tomo Nagura slurry and then plain water. Honing was done with a single layer of .007" tape.
