13/16 Kangetsu SA.1 Square Point HG, Original Box, VGC, Shave Ready
I've decided to limit my collection to vintage Sheffield razors and am therefore selling off everything else:
Offering a very clean 13/16 Kangetsu SA.1 13/16 SP HG hollow ground square point, in original faux ivory plastic scales and black wedge. The original box and paper insert are included. This razor is in very nice condition, with almost no hone wear. There is a crack on the reverse side scale at the pivot pin, it does not go to the edges. It has been stabilized with CA and the razor repinned.
The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones: sharpening and pre-finishing on a Shinden Hon Suita using a full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma), and final finishing on a Takashima Karasu Asagi with Tomo Nagura slurry and then plain water. Honing was done with a single layer of .007" tape.
