    Default (SOLD): Shotiku -Japanese 1/4 hollow straight

    For sale restored and re-scaled Shotiku Japanese straight razor.
    The blade is 13/16" wide and 1/4 hollow ground. The scales are pearlescent ivory actylic with red transparent wedge.
    The razor centers in the scales and closes snugly without any play.
    I honed the razor using Jnats :
    Ohira Suita for mid-range work
    Mejiro and Koma nagura followed by tomonagura on a fine finishing stone
    Finished on water only on a polishing Nakayama Asagi

    The edge is very keen but smooth.

    Another beautiful razor Stefan! Gentlemen if you haven't had a chance to purchase his fine razors I encourage you to do so...before I do...again lol!!!
