Default Wade & Butcher 11/16 square point short blade

Manufactured from 1818 to 1891. Back of blade straight with square point and double shoulder. Blade had 2 cracks near heel so blade had to be reshaped. Blade measures approximately 2 ¼ x 11/16. On shank “MANUFACTURED BY - WADE & BUTCHER - SHEFFIELD”. Blade cleaned, polished and honed shave ready. A few dark spots here and there. Cream color celluloid scales solid.

Light coat of oil for protection on blade. Please look at photos as they are best description.

Honing: One layer of electrical tape on spine. Bevel set on 600 grit diamond hone. Then 6000 water stone and finished on 12,000 oil stone, then glass plate. Then stropped on canvas with diamond paste and then leather and disinfected. A $18.00 VALUE FREE

I personally test shave each razor before final disinfection. Shave ready is different to each person. Factors like light or coarse beard or beard length come into play. I have a heavy beard and test shave every razor on a two day growth. If razor gives a close comfortable shave I call it shave ready. If it does not shave right I re-hone the razor.

    Payment due in three days.

U.S. SALES ONLY! Free USPS First Class shipping. If you want to buy the razor PM with shipping address, email and phone. I will PM back with PayPal email address. Will ship when payment received. Will email you tracking number, and my phone number.

    Thank you.

    $18.00

I like the shortened blade as I think it would work well under the jawline (a problem area for me). But that square point worries me a bit. GLWTS.

Some users run the tip across a glass lightly 2 or 3 times to dull it. You or I can do it if you want the razor. I can reshape the tip and round it off if you like.let me know.
