SOLD: NOS "Friede" Japanese straight
Up for sale is a NOS Japanese Friede straight razor. The razor measures just under 7/8" and it is a frameback.
The razor closes center in the scales and has factory edge on it.
Frameback is a great design for a razor combining the thin profile of a hollow ground blade with the stiffness of a heavy wedge grind.
I have used many Japanese framebacks, including my own Friede, and they were all exceptional shavers. This one is not an eception.
