Thread: JA Hencklles Fridour 72 1/2, 6/8+

Sooo.. the time has come for me to sell my first razor, as many of us here love to test different razors, and my collection is growing large, I've decided to sell razors to buy and test others...

First to be listed is one my my favorite razors brand/type.. the legendary Fridour type on it's 72 1/2 (rounded point) full hollow version. These razors are Inox, and can take a super wicked edge with almost no effort on the hones... awesome for any beginner or any advanced that wants a razor for everyday use... they do hold the edge and the maintenance is way less taxing being Inox. This one is in just a great shape! Very very low hone wear and is almost 13/16 but I'm listing it as 6/8.

The blade is Shave Ready (for my taste). Honed with one layer of electrical tape on Naniwa Progression: Chosera 1k -> Aotoshi 2k -> Chosera 3k -> Chosera 5k -> Junpaku 8k, SS 12k, and finished in Suehiro Gokumyo 20K.

As I said, comfortable shaving for me (that means, i test and it shaves well and pleasantly for my type of beard, skin, technique, taste, etc…), but maybe some more stropping or even honing on naturals is required for your ideal edge. After testing, blade is cleaned and a thin coat of camellia oil is applied.

International shipping to the US: $5 (with tracking number - 15 to 20 business days is. This is what the post office give as estimate time, I’ve seen most of the times it takes less, but I guess this is for them to be safe).
If you want it a bit faster delivery, $12 (10 to 15 business days or less) and $16 for 10 business days or less.
