Thread: KROPP 6/8+ Half Hollow. SWEET!

OHHHH boy… what a sweet razor this is!!! After honing and testing I was sooo convincing myself to keep it! …. but once again, we need to test other brands, other razors, etc…. therefore,

This sweet Kropp is available, most of you already know the great quality of this razors…. And those of you who don’t: this is your chance!!! Half hollow! It is more like a 13/16… but I’m listing it listing it as 6/8… overall in great condition!

The blade is Shave Ready (for my taste). Honed with one layer of electrical tape on Naniwa Progression: Chosera 1k -> Aotoshi 2k -> Chosera 3k -> Chosera 5k -> Junpaku 8k, SS 12k, and finished in Suehiro Gokumyo 20K. As I said, comfortable shaving for me (that means, my beard, skin, technique etc…), but maybe some more stropping is required for your taste. After testing, blade is cleaned and a thin coat of camellia oil is applied.

This is what the post office give as estimate time, I’ve seen most of the times it takes less, but I guess this is for them to be safe). If you want it a bit faster, $12 (10 to 15 business days or less) and $16 for 10 business days or less. Thanks!! Yeah I made it from an old piece of costarican cocobolo wood i have reserved for scales... it is now illegal to chop those trees in Costa Rica, so it is super evpensive and even more difficult to find.... but it is IMO the most beautiful wood ive ever seen...
