Well, to be honest, I doubt any of you guys need any explanation or information about how wonderful these razors are… just amazing how sharp they can get!
There is something about the shape of this blade that just makes me crazy! The ergonomics.. the thickness the weight, the grind, the sound when shaving.. I dunno, I hope if you don’t have one or never have had one.. just give yourself the opportunity of buying this one and see what I’m talking about…

This one used to have some pitting, which has been cleaned and polished, but still shows the marks on some spots… they could be cleared even more but to be honest since the razor shaves are superb I did not want to change it in any way. I checked the edge with the 60x and it is absolutely not affected by any pitting whatsoever…

The blade is Shave Ready (for my taste). Honed with one layer of electrical tape on Naniwa Progression: Chosera 1k -> Aotoshi 2k -> Chosera 3k -> Chosera 5k -> Junpaku 8k, SS 12k, and finished in Suehiro Gokumyo 20K. As I said, comfortable shaving for me (that means, my beard, skin, technique etc…), but maybe some more stropping is required for your taste. After testing, blade is cleaned and a thin coat of camellia oil is applied.

I only use tracked post for sake and peace of mind of both parties (to be covered by buyer), but no worries!
