    Well, the time I knew was coming has finally arrived - my neuropathy has degenerated to the point that I can no longer use straight razors. Therefore, I will be listing my remaining straights, stones, and strops over the next several days.

    Offering a nice 6/8 Joseph Rodgers & Sons near wedge with barber's notch, in original pre-ban ivory scales and lead wedge. The blade is very clean with minimal staining and light pitting but not near the edge. The spine is beveled with the word 'Tuesday' etched on the show side. The tang has a long, swooping thumb notch and jimping on the top side. The scales are the original pre-ban ivory, they are in excellent condition. The scales have been pinned without washers using nickel silver pins.

    The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones: sharpening and pre-finishing on a Shinden Hon Suita using a full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma), and final finishing on a Nakayama Asagi Tomae with Tomo Nagura slurry and then plain water. Honing was done with a single layer of .007" tape.
