Joseph Rodgers & Sons 13/16 Near Wedge w/Barber's Notch, Ivory Scales, Shave Ready
Well, the time I knew was coming has finally arrived - my neuropathy has degenerated to the point that I can no longer use straight razors. Therefore, I will be listing my remaining straights, stones, and strops over the next several days.
Offering a nice 13/16 Joseph Rodgers & Sons near wedge with barber's notch, in original pre-ban ivory scales and lead wedge. The blade is clean with some staining and light pitting but none near the edge. The scales are the original pre-ban ivory, they are in very good condition, with some slight yellowing and nice grain. The scales have been pinned without washers using nickel silver pins.
The razor is freshly honed on Japanese natural stones: sharpening and pre-finishing on a Shinden Hon Suita using a full Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression (Botan, Tenjyou, Mejiro, Koma), and final finishing on a Nakayama Asagi Tomae with Tomo Nagura slurry and then plain water. Honing was done with a single layer of .007" tape.

Absolutely not. I will not mail ivory scales outside the continental United States.
