    What's it say on the back tang?

    This is a realy old Takehana razor before the Takehana brand changed the name to Kikubishi after thr war.

    Takehana was the first manufacturer of western style straight razors in Japan.

    I am not sure of the manufacturing era, the scales style suggests Takehana , but the tang stamp is Tokyo ITO CO & LTD. They made "Sheon Burg" which are top of the line brand in all models that I have tried. FON indeed are absolutely top quality shavers, had a few of those as well.
