Thread: George Brittain monster just under 10/8

This was a white whale of mine for a long time. I found one with damaged scales, made some new ones from lignum vitae using cocobolo for the wedge. I coated the blade with brownells oxphoblu, a cold blue compound. I really like the way it turned out, but if you do not, it polishes off really easily. Nice deep, crisp stamp. No deep rust or pitting. Some light spots in a few areas. I'm highlighting everything, flaws and all, as best I can. I salvaged the original washers.
