Thread: C-Mon Razor

Nice old restoration C-Mon razor in black palm 3-pin scales
Front tang says: "Blackie C-MON Handmade"
Back tang says: Carl Monkhouse Elliotville, NY

This is a large 5/8 razor that has been freshly honed, shave tested, disinfected, and ready for a new owner. Just wipe the oil away with "dunny" paper (toilette paper) and shave! Please don't strop on first shave.

The razor is a good looking razor and a fabulous shaver. It was honed on a Shapton GS progression, pre-finished on G-20, and finished on YG Escher. This razor would please a new, intermediate, or veteran razor guy happy no matter if you are looking for a good razor for your collection, just another great shaving razor, or are looking for a razor to compare your edges to.

I had made those when I was first getting into restoration years ago. That black palm is a booger to work as is the super glue finish.
