Default Jose Monserrat Pou – Filarmonica Doble Temple 5/16+

So you need a really good thin blade for details, or because you want lighter and more maneuverable blade? Or maybe just cause you have none and you want to try it? Search no more! a great brand, a superb razor and control on details with a smooth shave. That’s what you will get here .

A bit shy of 4/8, this super cute razor has a name that speaks for itself in an awesome condition for this super low price

The blade is Shave Ready (for my taste). Honed with one layer of electrical tape on Naniwa Progression: Chosera 1k -> Aotoshi 2k -> Chosera 3k -> Chosera 5k -> Junpaku 8k, SS 12k, and finished in Suehiro Gokumyo 20K. Then stropped on 0.3micron CrOx -> 0.1micron FeOx,As -> Latigo leather -> Japanese Shell (40 laps each)…. As I said, comfortable shaving for me (that means, my beard, skin, technique etc…), but maybe some more stropping is required for your taste. No razor leaves if I have not tested, but no worries, after testing, blade is properly cleaned/disinfected and a thin coat of camellia oil is applied to protect it and safely packed for the travel.

I only use tracked post for sake and peace of mind of both parties (to be covered by buyer), but no worries! Regular International shipping to the US & Canada is only: $5 (around 30 business days is what the post office give as estimate time, I’ve seen most of the times it takes less). If you want it a bit faster, let me know and I can quote. International shipping rates to other countries might vary just a bit (1 or 2 bucks at the most), please contact me to check. Will do my best to ship the next day after payment but else, no more than 3 business days.

    Price: $49.5

I tried one of those out. Its not the standard Fili. Still a nice blade and a good shave. GLWS.

indeed it;s a good shave, but what do you mean with non standard? like, not the regular sizes we are used to? or that those were manufactured by someone else? AFAIK, filarmonica did not have manufacturers.. but i might be wrong... maybe did for the 4th generation?

this one is a se3cond generation unless i miss my guess, it still has the full name of JPM, that disappeared on 3rd generation, which is after JPM passed away and the issues with the blades started... but as far as I have experienced and learned from other users, the first and second generation (like this one) were made while JPM managed the factory and are just the same in quality
