Jose Monserrat Pou – Filarmonica Doble Temple 13 – 6/8" + Exc condition!
Alright, time for a classic... one of those things that you we all know and love, the only problem I have found with Filarmonicas is that when you have none you want one… when you have one… you want MORE! This is one of the best brands ever made and I must say… on my top 5 favorites.
Doble Temple 13 (double tempered) are well known for easily getting a wicked edge and maintaining it for a long time. Excellent steel and if you are new to honing not to worry: piece of cake to bring back to laser sharp!!!
Over 6/8", round point and somewhere half hollow (some might say closer to full hollow?), THIS ONE is in an excellent shape, it has the original factory grinding (has not been re-grounded or restored) and as you can see the scales are in great shape as well... the whole razor is so shinny that i'm thinking twice about selling it right now...
The blade is Shave Ready (for my taste). Honed with one layer of electrical tape on Naniwa Progression: Chosera 1k -> Aotoshi 2k -> Chosera 3k -> Chosera 5k -> Junpaku 8k, SS 12k, and finished in Suehiro Gokumyo 20K. Then stropped on 0.3micron CrOx -> 0.1micron FeOx,As -> Latigo leather -> Japanese Shell (40 laps each)…. As I said, comfortable shaving for me (that means, my beard, skin, technique etc…), but maybe some more stropping is required for your taste. No razor leaves if I have not tested, but no worries, after testing, blade is properly cleaned/disinfected and a thin coat of camellia oil is applied to protect it and safely packed for the travel.
I only use tracked post for sake and peace of mind of both parties (to be covered by buyer), but no worries! Regular International shipping to the US & Canada is only: $5 (around 30 business days is what the post office give as estimate time, I’ve seen most of the times it takes less). If you want it a bit faster, let me know and I can quote. International shipping rates to other countries might vary just a bit (1 or 2 bucks at the most), please contact me to check. Will do my best to ship the next day after payment but else, no more than 3 business days.
Price: $150

It is still available!
and welcome to the B/ST part of he forum!, here are the Classified Rules, but in general terms, when you want to buy the item you reply tot he thread with "I'll take it" or something similar, if you are the first to say you will take it then you have the priority... sometimes other folks (second and thirds, etc) would reply saying they get in line in case the original sell does not happen for any reason. after that, you send a PM to he seller and give him your address and he gives you the papal address or any other payment method you agree with the seller and that's it
we manage mostly under trust relationship as this is a community and sellers and buyers have a reputation to maintain within the communityhoning my mind...
