Le Grelot - Shave Ready
The blade measures 20.0mm which makes it between 6/8 and 13/16 in size.
Made by one of the great Thiers makers.
The blade has all it's original patina. I liked the way it looked so I just gently hand polished it with Blue Magic to bring back some of the underlying shine. If you're not a fan of blades with patina, then this razor probably isn't for you.
Faint etching remains on the blade of Le Roi Soleil (The Sun King).
Scales are original.
The grind looks to be about a half hollow to my eye.
The price is $68 which includes standard international postage to anywhere. If you want tracking it's an extra $9. Unfortunately Australia Post seem to think that tracking is a premium option.sloanwinters and Greybeard39 like this.
