Default Langbein New York Brooklyn 5/8 Round Tip $23 Shipped

    Langbein Straight Razor
    5/8" Round tip
    Deep Red Transluscent Scales
I believe the grind would be classified as a half hollow or quarter hollow.
The first name can't be read on the tang, but from a quick search I believe it is supposed to be Charles Langbein.

    Tang reads
    LANGBEIN
    NEW YORK & B'KLYN

Some light rust and pitting, I will try to show in the pictures.

    $23 shipped CONUS (+$ international)

The tip of the blade (not the edge) touches the wedge when closed. You may or may not want to fix that. Also, the wedge can be turned some if you push on it hard enough.

Worked on getting this blade honed this morning. I think it came out well for an amateur.

I am interested in this. Looking for a good user to learn with. When you say the wedge moves and the blade touches does this mean it needs rescaled or re pinned? Or I guess I should say does it effect the use. How do you handle payment ?

The white wedges can be turned some around the pin if you push on it hard enough. The nose of the blade (not the cutting edge) touches the wedge when closed. It could be used as is. If you wanted to fix it you could either try straightening the scales some to see if that does the trick or sand the wedge down a hair so the blade has more clearance.
I brought it up because I wanted to give full disclosure. I didn't want anyone thinking they were mislead or misinformed when they got the razor and inspected it.
    I use PayPal.

I've taken a small file to the wedge before without unpinning. It can be knocked down a touch without too much of a problem. Good learning razor!
