Jacques Lecoultre Six Blade Frameback Razor Set for Restoration, with Box!
Hi SRP!
Here for sale is a Jacques Lecoultre frameback razor set with all six of the original blades (6 not 7 as per the text on the box, '6 Lames' i.e. 6 blades).
All 6 blades are present but they are in varying states of repair, with perhaps four that could be honed in my opinion.
Not present are the blade retention screw or the original included screwdriver. A donor razor with screw may be needed.
The original ebony wood scales are included and partially restored. I removed them and epoxy filled cracks and voids before running out of time to complete the reassembly. A wedge will need to be fashioned. The frameback frame is in good condition and in need of some finish sanding only to bring back the mirror finish.
The original box is in great condition also, as is the sleeve in which the blades are kept (the original waxed paper has been replaced with VCD paper).

Beautiful - and at a bargain price....spectacular Swiss made frameback razor set, I'd buy it myself, but I have the 4 blade set as well as a two day set and a single frameback...premier maker, doesn't get any better.
Reminds me to send a note to Karl about doing a full restore on my 4-Day set....

You've got a set of very nice shavers there. At least four of those blades look like they'll clean up very nicely.
I was spurred on to shave with my LeCoultre this evening, and boy-oh-boy is she a smooth shaver.
