    Default 13/16 Frederick Reynolds Near Wedge restored by Karlej

    Some of you may remember that I have had to stop using my straight razors due to a worsening case of diabetic neuropathy, and have sold off my razor collection over the last few months. This is my last razor, I bought it freshly restored from Karl Johnson ('Karlej' of this Parish) a couple of weeks ago in a vain attempt to keep using straights. Sadly, my hands just shake too much and I cannot use it safely.

    This is an exceptional 13/16 Frederick Reynolds near wedge with barber's notch, in black horn scales and lead wedge. This razor was purchased from Karl Johnson (Karlej) and was restored by him, the purchase price was $170.00. I have done nothing to this razor but strop and shave with it about 6 times.

    ...Aaaaand it's back again! I sold it to a friend-of-a-friend who wanted to try a Sheffield wedge, and after a week he's decided it's not for him. This is my last razor, and I've sold off my hones and strops so need to move this along too. Clearance priced at $100.00 since I can't give it a touch-up on the stones like I normally would.
