Sadly, selling my straights (the last chapter).....Flic, 2 Dovos and a Geneva Pyramid
Good morning, all
As i wrote earlier, there's just not time enough to maintain the razors, so i'd rather they end up where they'll be used. All in really nice shape, having been worked on by some of our own members. No chips, breaks, etc.
Prices INCLUDE Registered Mail from Thailand (normally about 10-14 day delivery), and you'll be able to track through Thai Post, and then USPS when packages hit the states.
As before, PayPal happily accepted!
1) Dovo Special, 6/8.
Actually, this was my first straight ever! From WestCoast Shaving.
Gold wash still in tact! This razor closes slightly to the right, but other than that, its a beauty......with really nice balance and heft. US $75
2) Geneva Pyramid razor (with coffin), 5/8.
Another smooth shaving Geneva. If you have one already, you know! Nothing fancy.....plain black scales, and comes with the vintage coffin pictured.
US $45
3) Dovo "Historical George" razor, 5/8.
Not sure how this got the name, but it was purchased here some years back. Nice horn scales and covered tang. Gold wash is probably 90% in tact. These are hard to find, i believe.
US $110
4) Flic "Our Best" (with coffin), 5/8.
Another sweet shaving Flic.......simple black scales and blade in nice shape.
Also comes with the vintage coffin pictured.
US $55
Again, thank you for taking the time to look..........and, if we don't meet again, it's been a privilege hanging out with you all.....this place always manages to keep it classy!!

Fine razors, priced to sell IMHO
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 0Hi David,
Just a question regarding the 'Historical' Dovo, would you post to the UK? or is it US only.. It looks like a fine razor, would it suit a beginner?
Cheers
Bayaz

Hi Bayaz...........sure, i'm happy to ship to the UK. And, regarding the 'Historical" Dovo........yes, it would be suitable for a beginner....especially because of the 5/8 size.
thanks, mate!

Thanked: 61Man, you make it so difficult to keep my New Years resolution of no more razors. Gotta say, those are some real beauties and IMHO obscenely low priced. Great score for whomever gets their hands on those.
