Thread: 5/8 Clauss 5H Square Point

This 5/8 Clauss 5H Square Point has been re-scaled, has bottom jimps, some pitting and mild staining, minimal hone wear and centers snugly between black celluloid scales with white celluloid wedge, scales are straight and in very good condition. Clauss razors were made in Fremont, Ohio and are considered a very good quality US made razor.

Bevel was set on a Chosera 1k then honed on Naniwa 'Green brick Of Joy' and finished on Welsh Slate (Dragon's Tongue & Yellow Lake) then polished on Chromium Oxide pasted leather paddle strop & Ferrous Oxide pasted leather paddle strop, final stropping done on SRD Poly web/leather strop.

Razor is shave ready by my standards (I have a fairly tough beard) yours may vary. I do a 3 pass test shave and if razor doesn't give a smooth irritation free shave it goes back to the hones.
