Lot of 12 razors.
Here is a lot of 12 razors I am looking to sell. $300 for the lot. I will include basic international shipping. They are all in cleaned/ restored condition, and do or will be able to hold an edge. I am no honemeister and am only learning, but if you would like me to try to put an edge on them I will. Here is the list, likely not in pictorial order. I will try to describe them all to the best of my ability and show any damage or flaws. Thank you gents for your time. Let me know if you have any questions or want more pics.
From left down:
1.Read & Elvidge warranted. Sheffield Made. 21/32" round point. No spine honewear, edge still seems to be to an accurate smile. Blade in good condition. Slight staining on back, middle near toe. Looks like a finger print. Needs new collar at rear on pivot pin, and glue filling repair at same spot. Or scale replacing. Looks like some one ground it, unpinning it.
2.Bismarck "Private Special". Bismarck Razor Works Germany. 11/16" square point. Could have the smile to the edge "smiling" more accurately. In very excellent over all condition tho. Slight spine hone wear.
3.Tucco Franklin. United Cutlery Company. Worcester, Mass. 6/8" Butterscotch scale. In over all good condition and edge is nice and straight. Not really any spine hone wear. Over all a nice razor.
4.421 Barbers PE. Simmons Hardware Co. Made in Germany. 5/8" square point no hone wear. Slight frown to the edge, not much. In good condition otherwise.
5.Haddon Sheffield Made. 5/8" square Point. Hardly and spine hone wear, slight edge wear at toe. Engraved logo on face of blade still very visible. In over all good condition.
6.Joseph Rogers Cutlers Their Majesty. No6?or 5 Norfolk Sheffield. 5/8" at tie, 11/16" at heel. Square point. Minimal spine wear. Obvious slant to edge. Blade in overall good condition. Scales are cracked through the wedge pin on the front, and a chunk out at the pivot front. Original large domed washers and scales. Still functions fine.
7.Henry's XX. Geneva Cutlery Company. Geneva NY. 21/32" square point. Slight spine hone wear. Very clean over all condition otherwise.
8.King Razor Co. Indiana, PA. Karbon King. 5/8". Some hone wear to the spine. Edge has slight frown to it. Karbon King engraved tan scales with initials near pivot on front. Slight chunk out of scale on rear near wedge. Overall clean good condition.
9.292 Adoration. Giesen & Forsthoff. Solingen Germany. 9/16" a bit of spine hone wear. Edge is straight still. In wedge scales. Missing rear pivot collar, still holds with pressure. Nice clean condition otherwise. Still has original grind on faces.
10.Blue Steel Special. Kinfolks USA. 21/32". Slight spine hone wear. Edge is straight. Does have slight staining/pitting. Scales are in great condition but are losing the paint in the lettering. Not warn down that low, just paint came out of it. Overall nice shaver still.
11.geneva Cutlery, New York USA. 11/16" minimal to no spine wear. Edge is straight. Scales are in great condition etc. But there is cleaned pitting all over it and the logo has faded but is still visible. Good shaver.
12. ERN The Bar Razor. Wald-Germany. 5/8" at centre of frown. Needs small nick dent. Taken out of edge anyways, which will pretty well work out while putting it back to the correct smile to the edge. Pin needs tightening(wiggly blade).
