Portland Razor Co. "Kraken"
Hello folks-
Up for purchase is a very well kept and only about 3 year old PRC razor I had built with dark buffalo horn scales that have the slightest of cream streaks in them when tilted in the light to see. This razor will need honing and as you can see comes with all the original materials it shipped to me in. I am finding I prefer a select razor and this one no longer gets much use. These are handmade in the USA by a company that has built themselves up quite a bit. This is a very stocky razor in excellent shape and has always been dried after use and a layer of Ballistol applied to the razor for preservation from the enemy.
Here is the description PRC gives as to this razor:
SPECS:
- Handmade in Portland, OR
- 6/8” French Point Straight Razor
- Lower and Upper Jimps for Added Grip and Control
- Quarter-Hollow Ground O1 Carbon Steel
- Hardened to 62 HRC
- Shave-Ready: Hand-Honed to 12K Grit and Stropped Before Shipping
- Brass Pinned and Peined by Hand
I had the razor customized with the different scale option and paid roughly $210 as I recall for the razor. My price is shipped USPS insured Priority to the CONUS for $150.
The pictures are the best I could do but I assure you this razor is a great shaver when honed to your personal liking as this is a subjective subject matter. The blade centers perfect from my estimation and the pins are in great condition. if you have further questions please let me know.German blade snob!

Running one more week here then listing on another site. Price is $135 shipped and insured via USPS to CONUS. If you live in another country please contact me and I will quote a shipping cost to you but I have found it is usually a roll of the dice as to cost from one place to another and never makes much sense.
This is a great price for a $200 + razor that is like new.German blade snob!
