Thread: Hoshi Tombo 8000 Long Tail Japanese version.

Selling this restored HT 8000 longtail.
It was manufactured for the Japanese market and it's an odity in the sense that the tail is longet then the usual 8000 by @ 1.5cm.
It has been reground by a 5th generation retired Solingen razor grinder in my country mr Kelemen alias MiMo. He dis a great job.
Scales are in great shape. pins are tight, blade centers perfectly with no play.
It takes a superb edge, hones easily with one layer of tape and holds a great edge for long.
Cant remember the blade width but it's @ 1 mm less then a NOS one...will update blade width tomorow.
