PRC (Portland razor Company) Leviathan 6/8
I have my second PRC I am going to sell as well. These are great shavers and are robustly built. Like my last one I sold here and stated, I prefer a full hollow grind best, and I prefer Henckels after much buying and selling. This is a straight out sell to anyone interested. No trades or horse trading. I had this customized slightly from their routine offering to include spalted maple scaled double pinned. This razor was around $240 and my price here for a razor that is in EC is a great deal (just over a year old). It will need a touch up on the stones to get shave ready. I do find these a bit more to get shave ready than a full hollow but when they are, they shave as good or better.
Here are the details direct from PRC on the Leviathan model:
- Handmade in Portland, OR
- 6/8” Square Point Straight Razor
- Lower and Upper Jimps for Added Grip and Control
- Quarter-Hollow Ground O1 Carbon Steel
- Hardened to 62 HRC
- Shave-Ready: Hand-Honed to 12K Grit and Stropped Before Shipping
- Brass Pinned by Hand
This razor has everything that it came to me in.....original box and wool sleeve and all in new condition. My price is $155 shipped CONUS and insured to your door. Insurance and shipping alone is almost $11 USPS so you are really getting the razor for cheaper when you consider that.
The pictures are the razor itself. I will take PayPal as a gift so I don't have to pay the fee or USPS MO. Your choice, just let me know which you prefer. Thank you for viewing this beauty.Last edited by Michael70; 04-24-2018 at 05:37 PM.

I like that they added the third pin. My Leviathan is identical except it's the earlier model with only two pins.
That was a very good price on a fantastic razor. I really enjoy shaving with mine.

Actually I had them double pin it by request. They will only do it if you request. Now that said....I have not looked lately to see if this is standard. They are fine razors and well built. In fact, if it were not for the fact I reach for my JA Henckels most often, I would have kept them.
