    It is in pretty decent shape so a regrind too straighten the bevel and the spine should be a cake walk for guys like Dave. I sure wish I was not saving for a new mig.

    I don't remember anything about the maker or the VR stamp, but I'd guess it's mid 1800s based on the tail.

    It might be older. VR could be from 1837 to 1901.
    I remember a thread on the Marshes. Seems it was Marsh Bros after 1850 or so.
    I also recall 'Pond Works'. The pond is still there. Were several Marshes back when.
    It's all here somewhere.
