This is the first time I have ever seen this blade design with original scales. I have one, but like most others it has non original scales.
But the heel is also more worn than the toe, and it looks like it was cleaned up (nothing wrong with that of course) so not pristine.

Still, in very nice condition, and imo what this one has got going for it aside from the scales, is that the point is remarkably well preserved.
The number 1 flaw for most of these Lancet points is that the Point has become 'pointy' due to inexpert honing and too much pressure.
