Japanese Rinnet 216, 11/16+ Silver Steel (by Perfect Works)
Made by the famous Japanese Company “Perfect Works”, this silver steel Rinnet 216 is a really fine shaver. Really elegant design and feel, almost 6/8, the weight and balance is right on the spot. Very low honewear and really HARD tempering that you will notice during honing, therefore, maybe not ideal if you are just starting honing.
The shaves this blade can give are as smooth and elegant as the razor itself. The etching “Best Hollow Ground” on the face of the razor is difficult to capture with the camera, but still there.
The blade is Shave Ready (for my taste; that means, my beard, skin, shaving technique etc…), but maybe some more stropping is required for your taste. Honed on progression of Naniwas up to 12k and finished in SG20K. After honed and tested, the razor has been cleaned and disinfected, a thin coat of camellia oil has been applied to protect it and will be safely packed for the travel.
Shipping (to be covered by the buyer) to almost any country using EMS for expedite delivery (about 10 business days from shipping date to deliver at your country customs office) for only $15 to the US (ask me for other countries). Note: If you prefer, I can ship it for free without tracking number under buyer’s responsibility on F&F payments.
Shipping within 3 business days. PayPal payment is expected within 24 hours after commit to buy the razor in this thread.
Price: $95

G'day, as a matter of interest, has the manufacturer spelt the word 'PERFECT' on the tang incorrectly or is it maybe the photo angle/lighting? Cheers.

Nope, not the picture angle or lightning, it is indeed an issue in the manufacturer stamping. It is rare, but not unique, i have seen other Perfectworks stamped with the same typo.

Typos seem to be the only "issues" that occasionally pop up with Japanese razor makers. So maybe they weren't perfect, but they sure do come close in all other regards.

Indeed! razor tempering is perfect and the materials used are high quality, in fact i cant prove it (not on Fikira list) but this scales, wedge, make etc, is just like a Perfectworks razor made by Tanifuji. i'm convinced it is.
in the other hand, as pointed by a friend of mine on one conversation, it's not surprising a typo on a stamp made by a Japanese person, while they dont know our alphabet very well... i have enough toruble when trying to draw a kanji on google translator myself
one thing you can be sure. whomever gets this razor will know immediately this is high quality all over.honing my mind...

Nice, I'll take it. I fully understand the spelling issue. The company I work for exports food items to Middle Eastern countries, and we have constant issues with printing "BEST BEFORE EXPIRY" codes in the foreign text on all the packaging.
