The blade measures 18.77mm which makes it pretty close to 6/8 in size.

This is one of the high end Le Grelot Lotus straights. The etching on the blade can still clearly be seen.

The razor has jimps on both the top and bottom of the tang for a good grip with wet hands. The top jimps are an engine turned pattern which is typical of the high end Le Grelot's

The scales are not original. The scales are genuine ivory. I've had these lying around my workshop for a while waiting for the right blade to put in them. The came off a Heljestrand frameback that the blade was too far gone to save. As far as I know, no vintage Le Grelot straights came with ivory scales. I've made the razor that Le Grelot should have.

The razor was honed on a progression of Shapton Ceramic Pro stones (1k, 2k, 5k, 8k and 12k).

The price is $135 which includes tracked international postage.
