*SOLD* Hess 44 “Frozen Temper” Stainless Steel (11/16)
Vintage Hess Hair Milk Laboratories stainless steel blade in excellent condition with minor scuffing (too small to see for me with reading glasses). The faux MoP scales are in excellent condition, tight and blade stays open in any position.
This is one well-crafted Solingen SS blade that takes a nice, smooth edge. Final pic shows a narrow, even bevel. Honed up on the Chosera 1k, Naniwa SS 3-5-8-10-12, and finished on the Suehiro Gokumyo 20k.
I will also gladly provide a free touch-up honing for this razor to the purchaser. Only selling this fine razor since 11/16 is definitely on the small side for my tastes. I just had to try one of these Hess "Frozen Temper" razors since hearing from a longtime member of their notoriously smooth edges!
