Mastro Livi 8/8 RWL-34 in Buffalo horn
Mastro Livi 8/8 (a bit over) RWL-34 (stainless steel) full-hollow straight razor from early 2012 production in beautiful, streaked Buffalo horn scales. Very thin, even bevel (see 4th pic down), freehand X’s atop spine, and cross-hatched double-jimps. Blade closes centered.
Purchased new, but I don’t use this large blade nearly enough to justify keeping it. Took me half a dozen years to figure out my size/grind preferences, and I’m finally thinning the herd a touch.
Recently honed up using the following progression: Chosera 1k, Super Stones 3-5-8-10-12k, and finished up on the superb Suehiro Gokumyo 20k. Stropped on an SRD Premium #1.
Asking $650 plus shipping to own this fine razor. I will also provide a touch-up honing to the purchaser for cost of shipping only if desired. Let me know if you need pics from any other angles.
