Size: 18.8 KBSeveral months ago I bought 5 NOS Pumas. Now, I do not know if they were made by Dovo or whatever. On the blade it says Pumaster Steel Solingen Germany. Anyway, I ended up with two of the 89 Pumas. It gives a fantastic shave, nice weight and balance. It comes Shave Ready. This is at least in the top 3 Razors I’ve shaved with as far as how it sharpens, shaves and stays sharp. It has been shaved with about ten times. I rotate 8 or 9 razors.

I paid $200 for it I Was asking $140 but I’m dropping the price to $125.00 OBO. I’m on a fixed income. I am trying a new drug for Parkinsons that is expensive and not covered by insurance so I could really use the money. Thanks fellas.

Hi Randy, nice razor, is it a full hollow? Also, is PUMA 89 and Solingen stamped on the tang?
    Cheers, Mick.

2 reasons I did this reply.
1 bump this next to the other post
2 randy have you tried to research the local universities on medications that they might be producing for your condition. Before my step father died he was diagnosed with 3rd stage leukemia, but that pill he had to take once a week was $10k. After some time the company he retired from "changed insurance plans" and suddenly it was no longer fully covered, so I wrote to Harvard and they paid for a pill they were making that was either the old pill or a cheaper version. He survived for over 3 years like this when they gave him less than 3 months when he was diagnosed. Just a suggestion you might want to call around about.

    Thank you,

Hi everyone! I reduced the price on the Puma 89 to $125.00 I’m starting on a new Parkinson’s med that isn’t coving my insurance so I’d appreciate your consideration. The razor is a steal at $125.00 this razor sharpens easily, really holds the edge a long time and shaved fantastic!

Thank you. I live in Panama City Beach fl but the Neurologist I see for Parkinson’s is at UAB Birmingham Al an awesome teaching hospital. They have one of two clinics that deal with nothing but Parkinson’s and other movement disorders. They have 16 Drs in that group and they conduct special studies and clinical trials. The other clinic like it is Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida. I just got approved for Medical Marijuana and actually visited the first time today. The Drs believe it will help Parkinson’s symptoms. I also suffer from Chronic neck pain made worse by the disease. The pain Dr believed the weed will help. And I have battled depression my entire life and the Dr I see for it also recommended medical weed. I guess I’ll find out soon enough if it’s going to help along with the new med.

I have chronic back issues along with PTSD from 6 tours over seas. I was on medical marijuana, but now that MA legalized it I just buy from down the street. If this does not sell I would like the option to but in September, as my wife just dropped a butt load of money on a Disney vacation, so I need to fill the saddle bags before I buy anything, but would love something like this.

I have chronic back pain & have been on morphine for almost 10 years. The VA is trying to get us Vet's off of Morphine & like drugs but they haven't come up with anything to take it's place & the won't allow us to try using Pot. If we take a drug test with any pot showing up we lose our Morphine & most of us still on it really need pain Meds that work. I have been trying to cut my dosage in half by only taking one pill a day. Been doing this for 3 days & no withdrawal problems. I once ran out of my Morphine for a week due to post office problems & let me tell you it was NO FUN. My mom demintia (sp) and has been on a couple of drugs that are being studied & one seems to be slowing the progress of this disease. I really worry I might end up with it as my Grandpa also had it.

Hello, would you recommend this blade for a beginner? I read that a 6/8 with a round head and shave ready blade would be a good start for a beginner. Thank you!

A 6/8s round point is a great razor for a beginner and Puma is top of the line all the way.

A few years ago if this razor was priced at $250 guys would be fighting over it.
