J.A. Henckels straight razor - shave ready

The blade measures 16.2mm which makes it a little bit over 5/8 in size.

The scales look to be original. The washers have been put on at some stage because the hole in the scales has expanded. I replaced the standard pin with a micro-fastener and it's as solid as a rock.

The grind looks to be quite stiff. A 1/4 hollow.

Jimps on both the top and bottom of the tang for a good grip with wet hands.

This is an ideal razor for someone starting out. It's a quality make, 5/8, round point with good jimps and it won't break the bank.

The razor was honed on a progression of Shapton Ceramic Pro stones (1k, 2k, 5k, 8k and 12k).

The price is $36 which includes standard international postage. If you want tracking, unfortunately it's $8.55 extra. Unfortunately Australia Post treat tracking as a premium option.

A beginner needs to jump on this one...great deal for a top quality round point razor!
