Nope. It’s not going to win any beauty pagents. It is emphatically not NOS.

It is, however, $80. A little less than I paid for it.

It was one of countless projects for me. I was gonna clean it up and use it!

That plan ran into two problems. 1) I am lazy about shaving and usually only get around to it about once every week or two. 2) I have so many interesting old Sheffield razors that when I *do* shave, I tend to grab one I’ve never used, hone it, and shave with that. Filis undoubtedly provide great shaves, with a super combination of weight and hollow grind.

But they’re just too new for my blood.

This would be a great razor if you’re curious about what these are like but don’t want to spend the money they usually bring, or you know what they’re like and love them but don’t want to risk any of your favorites when travelling. Or maybe you’re a newbie who wants to start high up on the food chain for a lot less than usual and doesn’t mind that it isn’t cosmetically good.
