Thread: 8/8 Wade and Butcher FBU Wedge

Nice old razor. A bit over 8/8 in the belly. Blade received a light regrind by Wolfpack Mike several years ago with his unique 'crocus' finish on the blade's faces and a polished tang/spine. He set the bevel himself to confirm everything was straight and it was a home-run with the tiny and even edge.

I restored the original scales myself using the original collars and wedge pinned-up with silver pins for a nice contrast.
I then honed the razor and finished it on Escher with 1 layer of tape on the spine. Clean, tight, and sharp!

Awesome shaver, it has had lots of leather between shaves and seems to shave more perfect as time goes by.
Silent and smooth, one of those which just does not want to cut you, but delivers an extremely smooth shave easily.

Original box included. Rough with some repairs, but sturdy and functional.

I seem to have too many of these things, so time to find one a new home.
